Last Friday March 14th, ÁTICA REDEX presented two new projects and four new products at the ALCAMAR facilities.

MB aims to be the first global factory-free brand. Currently, more than ten suppliers collaborate on the brand’s production across all of its business areas—agriculture, livestock, green spaces, construction, or material handling (forklifts)—as well as those related to building and infrastructure maintenance (platforms).

The purpose of the session was to provide a general presentation and allow attendees to view, use, and make their own assessments and suggestions for improvements.

The event was attended by the Group Product Managers Amaia De Esteban and Serena Liu, the Director of the RO in Hangzhou Inés Huang, Marcos García-Muñoz as Director of Operations and Eugenio Sánchez representing the SAT service, as well as Amaya Lus as a member of the Development and Systems department, responsible for the implementation of AGVs for ÁTICA REDEX members.

NEW ASSEMBLY AND AUTOMATION PROJECTS

Atica’s determination is clear. It’s not enough to simply purchase products. We need to go a step further. In this case, we need to integrate our suppliers to increase the proportion of “their products” in ours. We need to look to logistics optimization for another opportunity for improvement, all without trying to “reinvent the wheel.”

ASSEMBLY

The simplest of the two is the so-called CCE 313, a “stacker” in the form of a 3-wheel forklift, an experiment whose greatest virtue is that it hydraulically corrects the defects of the original manufacturer and incorporates parts from the Central suppliers:

  • BOLZONI or CAM side shifter
  • DAISA battery
  • Grammer Seat by NUTRISET
  • Lighting system: MUNDI PART
  • Wheels from our suppliers

This 3-wheel machine, a competitor to industrial stackers, increases operator safety thanks to its protective overhead guard and perimeter lighting. It also increases productivity thanks to its superior speed.

The most complex is carried out in Rome by ARCHIERI. Here, with the exception of the metalwork, most of the electronic and hydraulic components are assembled under the Central’s brand, PROFILMOVER, which specializes in the manufacture and marketing of large-format sideloaders and multidirectional loaders.

AUTOMATION

EXP15

EXP15, a small, affordable AGV destined to lower the barriers to entry for end customers, was very popular. It’s a hybrid electric pallet truck and a self-driving pallet truck that offers automated pallet transport from A to B in a simple, easy-to-use package. As Amaya Lus showed us, it picks up a pallet like a standard pallet truck and, with the push of a button, can automatically transport the pallets to the destination. The EXP drives automatically, drops off the pallets, and returns empty, ready for its next round. This isn’t an autonomous pallet truck, but an automatic pallet truck.

For large projects, ÁTICA REDEX has and will continue to maintain its long-standing collaboration with SMARLOGY, undoubtedly one of the most advanced companies in this field, thanks in part to its extensive experience and Lucas Roca’s expertise.

NEW PRODUCTS

Thanks to the six manufacturers we work with, ÁTICA REDEX partners can boast one of the broadest and deepest ranges on the market. Not only they have everything, but, within a limited segment, they can also offer their customers every possible variation. This is the case with the new ET158 and DS3 . The former is a compact pedestrian pallet truck with a 1500 kg capacity, positioned between the current SL15L3 and the already popular F4. The latter is a stacker, also with that capacity, which, due to its price, design, and features, is designed to reign in the segment of smaller trucks that do not require lithium.

REACH TRUCK

CQD20L

The CQD is a reach truck with a 48V 360Ah lithium battery. It features a spacious, lower, easy-to-access, and comfortable driving position thanks to the seat and armrest. Visibility is optimal. Although the 20L was introduced earlier, this unit is available in two capacities: 2000 and 1600 kg, with a tilting carriage on the forks. It can reach heights of up to twelve meters .

The CQD20L model offers powerful performance and quiet operation thanks to its improved hydraulic pumps and powerful lifting motors (11.75 kW for the CQD16L model and 20 kW for the CQD20L model) that allow it, in the case of the largest, to maintain the nominal capacity up to six and a half meters, being able to carry 600 kg at twelve meters high.

These models have 360º steering, which provides users with the following benefits:

  1. Greater maneuverability : Allows for tighter, more precise turns, making driving in tight spaces easier.
  2. Operational efficiency : Reduces the need for repetitive maneuvers, optimizing work time.
  3. Change direction without stopping : The forklift can move in the opposite direction without having to stop completely, improving the fluidity of the movement.
  4. Reduced tire wear : By making turns and changes in direction easier, friction and tire wear are reduced.
  5. Increased safety: Improves operator control in environments with high shelving density or other vehicle traffic.
  6. Less operator fatigue : Fewer sudden movements are required, which reduces the physical strain on the driver.
  7. Warehouse space optimization : Ideal for narrow aisles, as it allows for better use of the storage area.

ROUGH TERRAIN FORKLIFT

The CPCD-XW98C-RT4 is a 2.5T to 3.5T rough terrain forklift equipped with a KUBOTA V2607 -CR-TE5B, Euro V engine, ideal for use in situations requiring external logistics, in construction sites to move prefabricated structures and construction materials, in the transport of fertilizers, seeds and agricultural tools, as well as for transporting logs and processed wood in the forestry industry.

Comfort and ease of operation were carefully considered in the development of this forklift. The floating seat and cab contribute to this. In addition to the rubber damper between the frames and the steering axle, the engine’s composite damper and the fully floating powertrain achieve a flexible connection between the frames and the drive system, significantly reducing travel and drive system vibrations.

The extra foot space significantly reduces operator fatigue, and the non-slip step makes getting in and out easy and safe. Visibility is optimal. The newly designed steering wheel, the new braking system, and the easy-to-use levers provide exceptional handling.

The newly developed LCD display offers more comprehensive functions. It fully displays the truck’s status, fault codes, and other information of interest to the driver.
